Cúpula de las FARC asistió a partido de exhibición de béisbol en Cuba

Los miembros del Secretariado de las FARC, Iván Márquez, Timoleon Jimenez alias Timochenko, Carlos Antonio Lozada, Pablo Catatumbo y Tanja Nijmeijer estuvieron presentes en el juego de exhibición entre la Selección Cuba de Béisbol y el equipo US Tampa Bay Rays en el Estadio Latinoamericano.

El partido de exhibición fue gesto diplomático de reconciliación entre Estados Unidos y Cuba.

Después de hacer historia, Barack Obama y Raúl Castro se quitaron la corbata y se sentaron juntos a disfrutar del béisbol en La Habana.

Los presidentes, que enterraron más de medio siglo de rivalidad entre sus países durante la visita de Obama a la isla, asistieron al inicio del juego entre el Tampa Bay Rays de las Grandes Ligas (MLB) y el equipo nacional de Cuba.
